He is fond of birds and he is keen on buying and wearing nice shoes and taking pictures.

„This is my second home. I have been playing here for more than two decades. I like playing here because of the community and the diversity of works, although that can sometimes be overwhelming. Well this part is not really my favourite. I wish us a little rest (especially for the orchestra) and some wonderful musical experiences. I guess it wouldn’t be that bad for the world, either.”

Szabó, Anna

Her favourite composer: Richard Strauss

„I think maybe the main thing is that this orchestra is not only a workplace where you just go and sit down and at the end of the rehearsal you rush out saying a quick „bye” to the colleagues. Here we maintain a good relationship with each other, what is more a lot of friendships have been made even outside  the rehearsal hall. It is so much easier to create something together in an environment like this.
I hope for at least another 25 successful years for the orchestra and I wish us to hold on to our enthusiastic, grateful audience that finishes every concert with a frenetic applause and stops us at the stage door saying „It was fantastic”.

The most beautiful thing for an orchestra is to have an audience that appreciates our work.”
