Szilágyi, Péter
Official member of the orchestra since 2001 but he had played with us long before, already since 1997.
His lovely wife, Rita is also a violinist in our orchestra, and they are parents to a son, Benedek.
‘In my kindergarten years I tried to turn my sand scoop into a violin, and as a professional musician I would sometimes do quite the opposite now, but I consider my being a musician to be God’s amazing gift. Few people have the good fortune of working together with their spouse and best friends.’
