She and her husband, Péter Szilágyi are both members of the first violin section. Their son, Benedek also seems to adore the violin.
All of Rita’s family members are musicians, her mother and sister play the violin and her father is a cellist. Chamber music is a very important part of her life, be it a string quartet, chamber orchestra or any other arrangement.
‘It’s great joy to play here together with my husband. I wish many more 25-year jubilees for the orchestra, high spirits, true companionship, a countless number of concerts and intensive rehearsals.’
